Homemade Hummus


1 cup of fresh (uncooked) chickpeas
½ Cup Tehina
1 Cup Water
Juice of ½ Lemon
1 teaspoon of paprika powder
1 teaspoon of sea salt

1 carrot
1 Paprika
1 Cucumber

  • Soak the chickpeas in a big bowl with lots of water over night
  • Wash off the chickpeas the next morning, place them in a pot covered with water and cook for about 45 minutes until soft


  • Place the soft chickpeas in a blender together with the Tehina, lemon, water, salt, and paprika powder. Blend until creamy. You can always put less or more water according to the thickness you like


  • Cut the veggies into slices and enjoy 🙂
