Homemade Granola



Preparation time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 25 minutes, 180 degrees

1.5 cups oatmeal
½ cup almonds
½ cup pecan nuts
¼ cup flax seeds
¼ cup chia seeds
1 cup dried dates or figs
¼ cup sesame seeds
¼ cup Agave syrup
¼ cup coconut oil

  • Cut the almonds, pecan nuts and dates or figs into small pieces. If you have a blender you can just put the nuts in the blender and turn it on for just a few seconds
  • Place all the ingredients in a big bowl, mix them well, spread the mixture on a baking sheet and place in the oven
  • Bake for about 20 minutes and make sure to stir it throughout so that the granola gets crispy from all sides
  • Depending on how crunchy you like it you can leave it in the oven longer or shorter

Add the granola to your yoghurt or milk of any kind and enjoy.
