Choose Your Own Adventure In Life

Life. Why are we here, and what is our purpose?

People have tried to answer this complex question for all of human history, but I don’t know if any of us can ever do this. Is it even possible for there to be just one answer that works for everyone, or is there even a need to answer it at all. All I know is that we’re all here in this universe for a short period of time, and that life should be lived to the fullest. Beginning A Yoga Practice: The Challenges & How to Overcome Them

290A0445

Many people who are looking to start yoga normally have two main concerns: where to start and the thought of not being flexible enough. Both of which can make yoga seem daunting. I got to spend time in big cities and in the nature. The most important part and reason for the trip though was Boston, where I started the certification program to become an instructor for trauma sensitive yoga. Last week marked the beginning of the seven-month program, which left me feeling so excited for all the learning to come.

There are so many ideas, expectations, and stereotypical opinions around yoga, which unfortunately prevent many from practicing yoga. I will be focusing on the physical practice of yoga in this post, though it is important for me to mention that yoga is not just limited to the physical practice, but includes all aspects of life.
